Vission To produce globally competitive and socially sensitised engineering graduates and to bring out quality research in the frontier areas of Electronics & Communication Engineering.

Mission To provide quality and contemporary education in the domain of Electronics & Communication Engineering through periodically updated curriculum, best of breed laboratory facilities, collaborative ventures with the industries and effective teaching learning process. 

To pursue research and new technologies in Electronics & Communication Engineering and related disciplines in order to serve the needs of the society, industry, government and scientific community.


Programme Outcomes :

After completion of the B.Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) program, students will have:

a) an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering

b) an ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data

c) an ability to design a engineering system, component, or process to meet desired needs

d) an ability to function on an inter-disciplinary team

e) an ability to identify, formulate, and solve engineering problems

f) an understanding of professional and ethical responsibility

g) an ability to communicate effectively

h) the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global societal context

i) an ability to engage in life-long learning

j) knowledge of contemporary issues

k) an ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice

l) an ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of engineering and management principles and apply
   these to one’s 
own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects.

After completion of the M Tech (Communication Engineering & Signal Processing)  program,
the students will be able to

a) Apply higher order thinking for enhancement of skills by acquiring in-depth knowledge of Communication
    Engineering and Signal Processing.

b) Synthesize and critically analyze complex engineering problems independently to make intellectual advances

c) Solve engineering problems  and evaluate the potential feasible solutions to arrive at the optimal solution by
    considering societal and environmental factors / issues

d) Solve unfamiliar problems through literature survey, apply appropriate research methodologies, conduct
    experiments, analyse and interpret data by working individually or in groups to create, develop and project the    

e) Devise and apply appropriate techniques and modern engineering tools to complex engineering activities with an
    understanding of the limitations

f) Contribute effectively either individually or in group on collaborative and multidisciplinary tasks to achieve
   common goals

g) Manage projects effectively as a member and leader in a team with engineering and management skills, in 
    Communication Engineering and Signal Processing considering economical and financial factors

h) Communicate effectively and confidently with engineering community and society at large regarding engineering

i) Recognize the need for and an ability to engage in lifelong learning to keep oneself abreast of the knowledge to
   be competent

j) Have intellectual integrity in professional practices and ethics while dealing with society

k) Introspect the outcomes of actions and make corrective measures on  his/her own.

    serve the needs of the society.
